Students in preparatory classes (CPGE and CLPES): validating your bachelor's degree at Université Grenoble Alpes

Are you enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at the University of Grenoble-Alpes (Université Grenoble Alpes , UGA) while also attending a preparatory class? Here's how the credit transfer process for your academic year works.

How does validation work?

The decision on whether or not to approve your first year of undergraduate study is made by university committees.
  • Opinion of the Joint Committee:
At the end of the academic year, a committee composed of representatives from high schools and the UGA issues an initial opinion.
  • Admissions Committee Decision:
The UGA admissions committees then make the final decision. They review the grades and evaluations submitted by your high school, taking into account the (expected) learning outcomes of the bachelor's degree program you have chosen.

ECTS Credit Allocation

Upon completion of your bachelor's degree year, you will be awarded ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System) that will be invaluable to you as you continue your studies:
  • First Year of the Bachelor's Degree (L1): 60 ECTS.
  • Second Year of the Bachelor's Degree (L2): 120 ECTS (cumulative).
  • Third Year of the Bachelor's Degree (L3): 180 ECTS (cumulative).

Where can I find the results?

The results of your degree validation are available on the student intranet. They are posted online as the committees make their decisions.

To view them:
  1. Log in to the Léo student intranet (access restricted to enrolled students). Your login credentials were sent to you by email when you completed your administrative registration at UGA.
    leo.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr
  2. Go to the "My Transcript" menu.
