Re-enrollment at Université Grenoble Alpes

Have you decided to continue your studies at Université Grenoble Alpes? Here are the steps to follow to re-enroll online at our university.

Registration for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year begin in early July 2026.

Please note the date that applies to you:
  • Thursday, July 2, 2026: Master's 1.
  • Friday, July 3, 2026: All levels except Bachelor’s Degree Year 1, BUT Year 1, and PASS.
  • Tuesday, July 7, 2026: First-Year Bachelor's Degree, First-Year Bachelor's Degree Program, and PASS.

These dates may vary by program. It is therefore essential that you check the website of the school, college, or institute that administers your program to verify the exact registration schedule for your program.

Step 1: Pay the CVEC

Before you enroll in college, you must pay the Student Life and Campus Fee (CVEC). This is a fee administered by the CROUS that is used to fund projects aimed at improving your living and learning conditions.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, the CVEC amount is 105 €.

Here are the steps to follow:
  1. Log in to the cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr website
  2. Pay your fee online. Please note: Some people are exempt from the CVEC. Before paying, be sure to check the website to see if this applies to you.
  3. Download your CVEC certificate and keep it in a safe place.

Step 2: Re-register online

Once you have paid the CVEC fee, you can proceed with your online re-registration. 
  1. Before you begin, we recommend that you review the online re-enrollment guide for assistance.
  2. Next, log in to the online re-enrollment platform (iareins), and follow the instructions.
  3. Once your registration is complete, you can view your registration confirmation on our online portal.

Step 3: Submit your supporting documents

  1. Confirmation email
    Once your re-enrollment has been approved, you may be asked to provide additional documents depending on your situation. If this applies to you, you must submit them in digital format via the dedicated platform. This submission is required to finalize your enrollment.

    Please have your UGA digital login credentials ready, thenlog in to the platform for submitting supporting documents

Step 4: Obtain your proof of enrollment

You can then log in to your Leo student intranet to download your proof of enrollment and, if you had any expenses to pay, your payment receipt.
  1. Before you begin, we recommend that you consult the user manual for guidance.
  2. Have your UGA digital credentials ready, then go to the Leo student intranet: leo.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr
  3. Once you've logged in, click the"MonDossierWeb" icon located at the bottom left of the home page, and follow the instructions.

Student ID

If you re-register withUniversité Grenoble Alpes, You no longer need to update your student ID card. The addition of the annual sticker has now been discontinued. The student card you received during your first year at Université Grenoble Alpes remains valid until the end of your studies at our university.

To prove your student status for the current academic year, Only your proof of enrollment is valid.
