    Among the French universities most heavily represented in the 2026 Shanghai Ranking of Academic Subjects published this Tuesday, September 15, Université Grenoble Alpes reaffirms the diversity of its scientific excellence. Ranked in 31 disciplines in the Shanghai thematic ranking, including 11 in the global top 100, UGA once again features prominently among the French universities in this international ranking. This recognition illustrates the strength of its scientific ecosystem and its research policy, which is built in particular on interdisciplinarity.

    Université Grenoble Alpes On July 3, the University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA), alongside its institutional and academic partners, inaugurated the Center for Integrated Health Research (CReSI): a new flagship facility located in the heart of UGA’s Health Campus in La Tronche. Bringing together researchers, clinicians, engineers, technology platforms, and innovation stakeholders under one roof, the CReSI is a strategic, unifying facility dedicated to serving patients. Its goal is to become a national and European center of excellence focused on three major scientific priorities: health technologies, chronic diseases, and aging and independence.
