Once you've filled it out, you must send by email to the administrative office responsible for the degree you are requesting. The email addresses for the administrative offices are listed in the application packet.
Step 2: Review of Your Application
Once you have submitted your application, it is reviewed from two perspectives:
Administrative Eligibility:
We verify that your experience is relevant to the degree or skill sets you are pursuing.
Academic Eligibility:
A program advisor will review your application to ensure that your academic background potentially meets the program's requirements.
Following this analysis, you will receive a response, which may be:
Positive:
You can continue with the process.
Reserved:
We are suggesting a new direction that might be a better fit for you, but you are free to decide whether or not to continue with your original plan.
Negative:
Your request has been denied.
This step is crucial because it prevents you from starting the VAE process if your chances of success are low. If your application is accepted, you can move on to the next step.
Support is a service designed to help you succeed in this process. The goal is to guide you in preparing your VAE application and to help you organize your thoughts. You will work with people who will help you connect your professional experiences to the requirements of the degree you are seeking.
Interviews can be conducted in person, either individually or in a group. It is also possible to communicate via email or by phone, which is very convenient if you are not on site. All the details will be explained to you when you sign the contract.
Step 4: Preparing and Submitting the VAE Application
This is a writing step. You will need to document and analyze your background in detail to put together your VAE application package.
Step 5: Interview with a panel
Once you have submitted your application, you will be invited to an interview with a selection committee. This committee is made up of faculty members and professionals. It is the committee that makes the final decision.
The jury may either:
Issue you the complete diploma.
Issue you a partial diploma.
Do not issue the diploma to you.
Step 6: Notification of the jury's decision
Finally, you will be notified of the jury's decision. If you have earned only part of the degree, we will explain the steps you need to take to complete the rest.
