Apply for a program with a preliminary admission application (green DAP)
Are you a non-EU citizen who already resides in France and would like to enroll in the first year of a bachelor’s degree program in France? The preliminary admission application (DAP) process, also known as the “green DAP,” is a mandatory step in submitting your application. It is a precise process with deadlines and procedures that must be strictly followed, from putting together your application to submitting your documents. This guide is designed to help you understand the process and submit your application under the best possible conditions.

Before you begin, please make sure that this procedure is followed at the school, college, or institute where you are enrolled. Check
December 15, 2026: Deadline for submitting your application.
April 30, 2027: Deadline for universities to respond.
May 31, 2027: Deadline to respond if you have been accepted. Please note that if you do not respond, it will be considered a decline on your part.

Step 2: Download the file
If you live in France, you must use the "green form. "
A national of a French-speaking country where French is the only official language.
A resident of a French-speaking country where French is the only official language and who holds a high school diploma obtained in that same country.
A student who has completed most of their high school education in French, even though the country is not exclusively French-speaking.
A student from a high school abroad that appears on the official list of French educational institutions established jointly by the Minister of Higher Education and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
You must hold a French as a Foreign Language certificate (DELF or DALF), provided that your level (B2, C1, etc.) meets the requirements of your program. To find out the language level required for your program, please refer to the program description in our catalog.
A graduate of the French Proficiency Test (TEF) administered by the Paris-Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry, having passed the oral exams and achieved a minimum score of 400 out of 699 on the written exams.
For all of these exemptions, you must provide proof before the application deadline, which is December 15, 2026.
