Studying Abroad Through an Exchange Program: Available Destinations

To find out where you can go, it's important to check the destinations available for your program.

What are the destinations?

We offer partnerships around the world (in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania), but The destinations are not the same for all students.

For your safety, we ensure that destinations meet certain requirements. As a result, available destinations may change depending on the global geopolitical situation.

How can you find the destination that's right for you?

To find the options that apply to you, you can View our interactive map of destinations. Simply select the name of your department (your school, college, and institute) and other criteria to view the partner universities.

How do I use the interactive map?

  • Think about your criteria: languages of instruction, lifestyle, budget, type of support... It's not just a matter of which country you choose, but rather what will help you grow through this experience!
  • Filter by your level, your program, and your type of mobility.
  • Explore the profiles for each university: languages of instruction, required academic level, cost of living, academic calendar, and more…

Check the eligibility requirements

Before submitting your application, make sure you meet the requirements set by the partner university. Some institutions have, in fact, specific requirements, such as a required language proficiency level, a minimum GPA, or courses already taken. Failure to meet these requirements may result in the cancellation of your application.

What you need to check for each university:
  • The required language proficiency level (for example: TOEFL 89, minimum B2, etc.).
  • The required grade point average or academic performance.
  • Accepted fields of study and disciplines.
  • The courses available at the partner university that will allow you to validate your curriculum at Université Grenoble Alpes.
  • The intended level of study (for example: second year of a bachelor's degree, first year of a master's degree...).

Students with disabilities

If you are a student with a disability and would like to participate in an exchange program, it is advisable to check the accessibility of the universities you are interested in after you have identified possible destinations for your field of study. It is also very important to indicate your specific needs as soon as you submit your application. This will help the international relations offices ensure that you receive the same level of support at the host university as you currently receive.
