First Steps
To prepare properly, you should:
Understand the specifics of an internship abroad ( corporate culture, administrative procedures, etc.).
Clearly define your project: Which country, which industry, and what tasks?
Understand the procedure for drawing up an internship agreement, if necessary.
For more information, you can attend informational meetings that we organize during the academic year. Please also feel free to contact our job placement and career guidance centers.
Regulations
We ensure our students' safety while studying abroad by using bilingual model agreements.
Before embarking on an internship abroad or in a U.S. overseas territory, our students are made aware of the safety of the area in the selected country, by having the student complete the departure form and attach it to the internship agreement.
We strongly recommend that you purchase appropriate insurance : liability insurance, health insurance, and individual accident insurance.
Funding
What types of scholarships are there?
An internship abroad comes at a cost, but there are several scholarships that can help you pay for it:
If you are a CROUS scholarship recipient or have a disability, Additional financial aid may be available in addition to these scholarships.
Mobility Grants can be combined with the CROUS scholarship.
Please note, These benefits are paid after the start of your stay and do not cover all expenses. It is therefore important to draw up a preliminary budget before leaving.
What are the eligibility requirements?
These grants are intended for students who are completing a required internship as part of their degree program.
The internship must last at least one month (four weeks).
The award of the scholarship is based on the minimum duration of your required internship, up to a maximum of 24 weeks (6 months).
How is the scholarship paid out?
The grant will be paid in two installments via bank transfer:
A 75% deposit at the start of your internship.
The remaining 25% is due at the end of your stay.
These payments are made exclusively to a bank account held in France.
