Apply to the Graduate School@UGA

The application process for a thematic program at the Graduate School@UGA takes place alongside your application to a master’s program or engineering track. This step ensures that you meet the requirements for admission to the thematic program.

When you apply for a master’s degree or an engineering program, make sure that the program aligns with the thematic program of your choice. The list of master’s programs, engineering programs, and other courses associated with each thematic program is available on the corresponding overview page.

Application Package

If your background meets the eligibility requirements, you can fill out the application form. To make the process easier, be sure to have the following documents ready, in French or English:
  • Your resume.
  • A cover letter.
  • Proof of admission to your master’s program or other program participating in the Graduate School@UGA.
If you haven't received your admission letter yet, you can still apply to the Graduate School by providing proof that you have applied to a master's program or an engineering program. You can then upload your admission letter as soon as you receive it.

The application period for the Graduate School@UGA for the 2026–2027 academic year is currently open.  
   
Please note

Applications to the Graduate School@UGA submitted after June 15, 2026, arenot eligible for theGS@UGA Attractiveness Scholarship, as the scholarship selection committees have already met. However, you can still apply to a thematic program through the start of the 2026 academic year.
