Recognition of Personal and Professional Learning (VAPP)

Would you like to return to school, but don’t have the required degree? The Recognition of Personal and Professional Experience (VAPP) program offers a solution. This program allows you to have your professional and personal experience recognized so you can gain admission to the university program of your choice, even if you don’t meet the initial educational requirements.

Who is eligible?

To apply for VAPP, you must meet the following requirements:

You must be at least 20 years old.
If you do not have a high school diploma, you must have stopped attending school at least two years ago.
You must be able to demonstrate that you possess a certain number of skills (gained through your personal or professional experience) that will enable you to succeed in the program you are applying for.
If you did not complete the training program you were admitted to through a VAPP, you must wait three years before you can submit a new application.
