Where our graduates go: the professional integration of students at Université Grenoble Alpes
Every year, we conduct surveys of our alumni to track their paths from the time they entered the university until they enter the workforce. The results of these surveys provide valuable guidance for current and prospective students. They are presented by degree program.

4,000 graduates per year
Graduates of general bachelor's degree programs are invited to describe their career paths within six months of graduating. What next steps in their education? What are their career plans? This survey provides current and prospective students with information on the career paths of bachelor’s degree graduates to help them plan their own academic trajectories.
BUT graduates are invited to describe their career paths six months after graduation. What further studies are they pursuing? What are the characteristics of the jobs they hold? This survey provides information on opportunities for further study or entry into the workforce after earning a BUT degree.
Graduates of vocational bachelor's degree programs are surveyed about their transition into the workforce in two stages, nine months after graduation, and two years after graduation, in order to study their entry into the labor market and the quality of their long-term integration into the workforce. This survey provides information on the conditions for accessing employment and on the types of jobs sought in the medium term.
Master's degree graduates are surveyed about their transition into the workforce in two stages, nine months after graduation, and two years after graduation, in order to study their entry into the labor market and the quality of their long-term integration into the workforce. This survey provides information on the conditions for accessing employment and on the types of jobs sought in the medium term.
Doctoral graduates are surveyed about their career paths in three stages: one year, three years, and five years after graduation. Job types, employers, median salaries, job satisfaction, and locations are the indicators presented in the data visualization tool based on surveys conducted by the Doctoral Employment Observatory.
