Applying to the first year of a bachelor's degree program for students in exile

Are you a foreign national with the status of political refugee, stateless person, asylum seeker, or subsidiary protection beneficiary? Would you like to apply for the first year of a bachelor's degree at Université Grenoble Alpes? If so, you must follow a specific procedure.

Only individuals with one of the following statuses are subject to this procedure: subsidiary protection, temporary protection, refugee, stateless person, or asylum seeker.

Step 1: Contact the Colibri Welcome Desk

The Colibri Reception Desk is your first point of contact at Université Grenoble Alpes. The team can welcome you in person, by phone, or by email. They will help you overcome everyday challenges related to precariousness and advise you on your future plans (training, diploma recognition, job search).

Step 2: Learn about academic programs and careers

The advisors at The Career Guidance and Job Placement Center helps you choose your path. They meet with you one-on-one to introduce you to the programs available at our university.

Step 3: Check whether you are eligible for the program (eligibility)

Before applying, you must confirm that your status qualifies you for specific support.
  1. Send an email to the Université Grenoble Alpes admissions office at:
    dap@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr
  2. Your message must include the following information:
    1. Your first and last name.
    2. A scanned copy of your valid official document (OFPRA decision, resident card, residence permit, or asylum application receipt).
    3. The exact name of the first-year bachelor's degree program you wish to enroll in.

  3. The admissions office will then review your application.
  4. If you are accepted into the program, the admissions office will process your application and send you the specific forms to fill out.
  5. You must complete this application and email it to the Admissions Office at dap@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr, along with all the required supporting documents, by the specified deadline.

All applications must go through the admissions office. You are not permitted to contact the school, college, or institute offering your program directly.
