Apply for a work-study program

To apply and enroll in a work-study program, you need to plan ahead and not wait until the last minute. Here is a timeline of the steps to follow.

If you are an international student from a country outside the European Union, you must prove that you have been living in France for at least one year in order to enroll in a vocational bachelor's degree program through an apprenticeship.

1. January/February: Apply to college

Submit your application for the program you're interested in. The process may vary depending on your situation and the degree you're pursuing.

2. February: Prepare your application materials for the company

It's time to start getting ready your resume and cover letter for businesses. Our career guidance and job placement centers offer workshops to help you. Feel free to participate!

3. March/April: Apply to companies

Visit the university's Career Center to View work-study opportunities published by companies.

You can also contact the work-study program coordinators directly, as they sometimes organize "job dating" events.

4. Between March and June: Become Eligible

After reviewing your application, conducting interviews, or administering tests, the university will notify you of its decision regarding your admission. If you are admitted, An advisor will help you complete your paperwork with your future employer.

5. Before the start of the school year (September/October): Sign your contract

To finalize your admission, You must have signed a work-study contract with a company. This is the final step!
