ETC History of Geometric Optics

Training
This course will present advances in geometric optics by reviewing the history of theories of vision, image formation, shadows, reflection, and refraction. Taught by a physicist and a historian of science, the course is unique in that it incorporates presentations of historical instruments or their reconstructions.
