High-Performance Student Athletes: Medical and Paramedical Support

The sports medicine and traumatology unit at Université Grenoble Alpes offers high-level student athletes a comprehensive medical and sports program, ranging from the management of injury-related issues to organizing initiatives that create the conditions for athletic performance.

The Sports Medicine and Traumatology Unit was established to optimize medical care for high-level student athletes. It is the result of a partnership between the university, a medical practice, and a physical therapy practice in Grenoble:

The doctor's office

It guarantees a Consultation available within 24 hours.

High-level student athletes from the University Training and Education Centers (CUFE) are eligible for a comprehensive medical examination followed by long-term follow-up.

The Physical Therapy Clinic

He suggests recovery care (cold water bath, sauna, drainage boots), emergency care, rehabilitation care, for a total of 15 hours per week.
