ETC Phonetics and Phonology: Acquiring the Pronunciation of a Foreign Language

This course covers the basics of phonetics and phonology, followed by an examination of several major works that seek to explain and understand the process of learning linguistic systems. Toward the end of the course, we will explore methods and technological tools that support the acquisition of second-language pronunciation, focusing on the types of difficulties learners encounter.
