BVBV: Living Well, Aging Well

Aging, well-being, prevention, health, society, empowerment
The "Living Well, Aging Well" program focuses on aging as a comprehensive phenomenon—from the cellular level to society as a whole—with the aim of developing innovative research-based training programs that will help our societies adapt to demographic changes.

This program offers innovative interdisciplinary courses at the intersection of health and the humanities and social sciences, with the aim of developing new approaches to research-based teaching. Centered around the Faculty of Humanities, Health, Sport, and Societies (H3S), this program draws on a rich multidisciplinary curriculum, intensive courses that foster creativity, and cutting-edge research projects in the fields of health, sociology, psychology, history, the social and solidarity economy, sports science (STAPS), and law. It aims to foster adaptation and the creation of new jobs that will address the health, societal, economic, and ethical challenges raised by aging—a process that extends beyond the issue of old age alone and encompasses life courses in their entirety.
